Target Groups

We gather from the river a three-minute kick sample and from this we identify and count the following eight groups of invertebrates. In addition we also look out for any other invertebrates species not on this list such as damsel nymphs, hoglouse, beetle larvae, crayfish etc. All of the following photographs are of actual specimens found in The River Tillingbourne during our monitoring sessions.
